There are some moments that feel so surreal, you have to pause and take them all in, and bringing Future Her to my hometown of Pittsburgh was one of those moments.
Standing in a room filled with so many bright, talented and ambitious young women was truly a full circle experience. I loved having the opportunity to speak with the girls, hear their stories and learn more about their dreams for the future. While I hope they left feeling inspired, encouraged and seen, I honestly believe the experience meant even more to me than it did to them. Their openness, excitement and willingness to receive everything we poured into them reminded me exactly why Future Her was created.
The joy continued at the meet & greet, where the energy was vibrant from the moment the night began. Being able to connect, laugh, take pictures and share genuine conversations with everyone who came out made the evening so special. The love in the room was undeniable, and I truly did not want the night to end.
To every speaker, sponsor, volunteer, parent, attendee and person who helped bring this vision to life; THANK YOU!! Future Her would not have been possible without your support, time and belief in what we are building.
This was only the beginning. I am so excited for Future Her to become an annual experience that continues to grow, reach more young women and create a lasting impact for years to come. Pittsburgh, thank you for welcoming me home with so much love. I cannot wait to do it all again.
