Okay so every time I post a story and the TV is on in the background, I get at least five DMs like, “Wait what are you watching??”
So here it is. My current rotation. Heavy on drama. Heavy on crime. Heavy on “just one more episode” at 1:30am.
The Ones I’m Currently Obsessed With
Tell Me Lies — Streaming on Hulu
If you’ve ever entertained a walking red flag… this one will hit. It’s messy, toxic, dramatic, and I absolutely cannot stop watching.
The Pitt — Streaming on Max
Okay so first of all this one is set in Pittsburgh, which is my hometown, so I was already locked in off that alone. But what makes it even crazier is how they structured the season. The entire season is one shift. Each episode is one hour of that shift. So you’re literally watching things unfold in real time…one chaotic, nonstop hospital shift, hour by hour.
The Gilded Age — Streaming on Max
If you love period drama but want less fairytale and more power struggle, this is it. The fashion alone is worth watching.
Landman — Streaming on Paramount+
Oil money. Big personalities. Questionable decisions. It’s dramatic in that “rich people doing too much” kind of way.
MobLand — Streaming on Paramount+
Gritty. Dark. High stakes. Do not start this unless you’re prepared to be stressed in the best way.
Gangs of London — Streaming on AMC+
Action-heavy, intense, and not for the faint of heart. It throws you straight into chaos.
Political, Crime & Power Plays
Mayor of Kingstown — Streaming on Paramount+
Complicated men. Complicated systems. You’ll be frustrated but you won’t stop watching.
Sheriff Country — Streaming on CBS / Paramount+
Small-town law enforcement but layered enough to keep it interesting.
Ballard — Streaming on Prime Video
Investigative energy without being overwhelming. Easy to binge.
BMF — Streaming on STARZ
Inspired by real events, and you feel that weight in the storytelling.
Cross — Streaming on Prime Video
Sharp, psychological, and keeps you guessing.
Thrillers That Keep Me Up Too Late
We Were Liars — Streaming on Prime Video
Slow-burn mystery that makes you question everything.
The Girlfriend — Streaming on Prime Video
This one will have you side-eyeing every character.
Paradise — Streaming on Hulu
Beautiful setting, but don’t get comfortable. There’s more going on. Season 2 is coming out Feb 23rd, so perfect time to catch up or binge!
Hijack — Streaming on Apple TV+
High stress. High tension. Very bingeable.
Tehran — Streaming on Apple TV+
Smart spy drama that makes you feel like you should be paying closer attention.
The Night Agent — Streaming on Netflix
Fast-paced, twisty, and impossible to stop once you start.
All Her Fault — Streaming on Peacock
You think you know… and then you don’t.
Apples Never Fall — Streaming on Peacock
Family drama with secrets that slowly unravel.
When I Want Romance or Something A Little Different
Bridgerton — Streaming on Netflix
At this point it’s comfort TV for me. Romance, scandal, stunning visuals.
JFK Jr. & Carolyn Bessette: A Love Story — Streaming on Hulu
This one is about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette; their relationship, the media pressure, the glamour, the tragedy. It’s nostalgic and heartbreaking all at once. If you love real-life love stories with a little mystery and legacy tied in, this is it.
Your Friends & Neighbors — Streaming on Apple TV+
It gives “what’s really happening behind closed doors?” and I love that.
Slow Horses — Streaming on Apple TV+
Spy drama with dry humor. Slightly chaotic but very good.
The Last Frontier — Streaming on Apple TV+
Dark, suspenseful, and very atmospheric. It’s one of those shows where you’re watching through your fingers but still can’t look away.
Copenhagen Test — Streaming on Peacock
Different vibe from everything else — but intriguing.
TASK — Streaming on Hulu
High-stakes, competitive energy. Easy to binge.
All’s Fair (Kim Kardashian’s legal drama) — Streaming on Hulu
Okay listen. I was curious. It’s dramatic, stylish, and very “power women navigating high-profile cases.” If you love legal drama with fashion and tension layered in, this is an easy watch.
So Basically…
If it has power struggles, secrets, morally questionable decisions, or beautiful outfits…I’m probably watching it.
If you’ve seen any of these, tell me your thoughts because I need people to process these plot twists with 😭
And if I’m missing something I need to add, drop it immediately.
