Hey guys! Many of you would probably be shocked to know that I hate piecing outfits together, which is why I typically wear dresses. To me, they are the easiest thing time & effort wise, and also because of my shape. On the rare occasion, I am in the mood to get fancy and find a cute fit like this skirt from Boohoo.
You already know from my other blog posts, that I LOVE BOOHOO. This high waist wet look pencil skirt highlights my curves, cinches in at the waistline and looks great with so many pieces. In this outfit, I have styled it up with a top and shoes from Zara and kept the colors simple and chic. Black with a small splash of cool blue and charcoal give a somewhat sophisticated and modern look that would work for so many occasions.
The twisted mesh frills on the Zara top add an extra layer of depth which draws the eyes immediately upwards and adds an oh so delicate and rough vibe to this look all at the same time. With natural makeup, sunglasses and of course the bun; it delivers elegant style with a hint of cool office chic.
Midi pencil skirts can be worked all year round, cover you and are so versatile. They have always been my fave!
