When decorating Harper’s nursery, we wanted to continue to go with the boho chic theme as well as create a space that feels like the perfect little sanctuary for Harper as she continues to grow. Knowing that Harper will grow with this room, we made sure to stick with neutral colors so once she gets older, she will be able to make the decision of what color she’d love her room theme to be.
Moving into our new home, we knew Harper’s nursery would be one of the first rooms completed, so we partnered with Amazon Home for a complete room makeover!
Everything from the crib to the curtain rods, ottoman and even the mattress are all from Amazon Home and trust us when we say, they helped bring our vision to life!
Plus if you’re an Amazon Prime member you can enjoy the same fast, free delivery on select heavy, larger items like furniture making it easy to decorate your child’s nursery quickly and efficiently.
Now onto the moment we’ve all been waiting for… the nursery reveal!
We are in love with our furniture and decor from Amazon Home with the childrens teepee being one of our favorites for Harper as it is such a cute space for her to take pictures. The baby lamb rocker is one of Harper’s personal favorites and we’re excited to watch her grow out of needing our assistance while she rocks on it. The wicker basket is an essential storage piece for Harper’s room that makes storing her stuffed animals in one place easy, all while maintaining accessibility. Another personal favorite for Cory and I is the halo video baby monitor that allows us to keep an eye on her from anywhere in the house and makes conversing easy when one of us is upstairs with her and the other is downstairs.
Can’t forget the cream glider, which is truly a dream. It’s super comfortable and keeps story and feeding time easy. I love to cozy up there with Harper and our Stone & Beam blanket! Stone & Beam is one of Amazon’s home brands and we fell in love with their affordable and stylish furniture and decor options!
When it came to picking books for our little one’s nursery we wanted to make sure that the books we chose were educational but also looked like her and Amazon had a wide variety of books that catered specifically to that. Some of the books we chose for her room include: “I Am Enough,” “My Hair,” “The Princess and The Pea,” “Eating the Alphabet,” “My Big Book of Sounds,” and “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” to name a few.
When it comes to decorating your child’s nursery I recommend keeping things neutral and shopping on Amazon Home to ensure saving money on decor. Not only are you saving money but as your child grows you give them a chance to design a room that helps fit their personality. As they grow out of their room, or even into it you can foster versatility by simply changing out the pieces or even adding accent colors. It also helps that Amazon brands offer a warranty on all furniture, free delivery to your room of choice, and 30 day-returns. Whether you’re looking for furniture, decor, lighting or storage it is all on Amazon Home.
