Being an influencer isn’t your typical nine to five routine. There’s always something that needs to be done– shooting for campaigns, creating content for social media, filming YouTube videos, editing– the grind truly never stops!
I’ve found it both easy and extremely helpful to utilize various apps to not only stay organized, but to also keep my sanity with the million and one things I have to do! For me, it’s pivotal that I stay organized and know exactly where everything is– it allows me to refocus my attention and work better when producing content. Being an influencer and content creator consists of me wearing multiple hats at the same time, anytime I’m able to make the load a little less heavier– I’m all in!
Below are four apps I use to not only stay organized, but to make sure I remain focused, creative and efficient (of course that’s a little bit easier said than done at times, but these apps help keep me on track).
Dropbox
Dropbox is literally the best cloud storage tool I’ve ever used! This is a great app to use when storing large amounts of photos and files that you may want to sync and be able to access from anywhere. Dropbox allows you to share folders with other users (i.e. your photographer) from both your phone and desktop without having to worry if anything may happen– your files are always one click away.
UNUM
Advertised as the app to up your Instagram, UNUM will amp up your Instagram’s aesthetics. Have you ever gone on someone’s Insta and thought, how does this look so good? The colors are pleasing, the content is cohesive, everything just looks so…right. Well UNUM makes beautifying your page effortless! This free app features a scheduler with the ability to make drafts, edits, add filters and captions, prior to posting. It also allows users to move content around to create a layout that fits a desired aesthetic. Planning your brand’s image behind the scenes will create a strong cohesive digital design.
When to Post
Ever wonder when the best time to post is or when your followers are most active? With this application, you no longer have to guess! This app helps you strategically post during a high traffic time slot thus allowing more people to see/interact with your material. When to Post features charts, analytics, breakdowns and stats based on trends and your past engagement history, with the intention of growing your following.
Planoly
The main focus of Planoly is business use, as opposed to personal use. Planoly includes upgrade options that allows you to add multiple Instagram accounts, admins and contributors. Just like UNUM, Planoly has easy navigation, allowing you to upload, drag, drop and arrange images, and schedule and receive notifications to post. Although it doesn’t come with editing tools, it does allow you to design an Instagram grid, search hashtags and users, and allows you to access data for the last week/month/year.
What are some of your favorite apps you use to help you stay organized?!
