Many of you have been asking for a nursery tour of Harper’s room in our current house (yes once we move we’ll be designing a completely new nursery for her in the new house), and we didn’t want to share any details about her nursery until it was completely finished. I don’t know about yall, but I’m such a sucker for a beautiful nursery with meaningful and thoughtful details that showcase a calm and tranquil space for our baby girl.
Harper’s nursery was inspired by a very boho chic theme (similar to our baby shower), with a clean and minimal feel with an incorporation of nude and soft tone pinks. Several things in Harper’s nursery were inspired by this theme, which you’ll see throughout the entire space from the gold clothing rack to the acrylic shelving and wicker baskets. Keep reading to find out everything we included in Harper’s nursery and what we love most about this special space!
Harper’s Nursery Tour + Details
Gold Clothing Rack: This industrial wall mounted clothing rack is the perfect accent piece to Harper’s nursery. As you can see, the colors in her room are extremely light and pastel and this t-bar clothing rack added the right pop of color without going overboard. It compliments the boho chic theme of her nursery and it’s also very functional and allows us to hang some of her cutest little pieces of clothing for display.
Teepee Tent: Continuing the theme of boho chic, this teepee tent was the perfect accessory and decoration to add right next to Harper’s crib. It features white curtains with front flaps that can either remain open or closed and is the perfect area for our baby girl to play once she gets older of course.
Similar Fur Rug: This white fluffy rug (which comes in five additional colors) contributes to the clean and airy feel of Harper’s nursery. Its both chic and is the perfect decor rug that’s extremely soft with a modern and luxurious feel and design. Check out a similar one here.
Acrylic Shelf: Floating shelves have been perfect for displaying all of the books I grew up reading as a kid and now Harper has her very own! These shelves are extremely durable, easy to install and come in handy for multi-use.
Round Decorative Mirror: Round decorative mirrors have been in style lately, so of course I couldn’t resist incorporating them into Harper’s nursery. This particular mirror from Target comes in four colors (black, gold, brass and white) and are the perfect addition to any blank space on any wall. Super chic and minimalist and matches Harper’s theme perfectly!
Hanging Planters: These geometric hanging planters have a very versatile design that can either be used for hanging on the wall or storage for smaller items. We decided to go with hanging these planters on the wall where they add an attractive geometric design and dimension to Harper’s nursery.
Velvet Hangers: Velvet hangers are perfect for making sure Harper’s clothes don’t slip off of the hangers. All of her clothing hangs on these velvet hangers and helps maximize space in her closet, because sis definitely has a ton of clothes.
Art Deco Dresser + Topper: This dresser and topper combo was the perfect piece of furniture for Harper’s nursery! Not only does it double as a dresser and a changing table, but it also matches the color scheme and boho chic theme of her room. The gold hardware also compliments the gold hanging clothing rack and the gold circle mirror— yes we definitely thought this through making sure every detail matched to the tee!
Delta Children Crib: Selecting a crib for baby Harper was one of the most important things for us. Of course when it comes to the crib, the #1 thing should be the safety of the baby. Based on extensive research, we selected Sloane 4-in-1 acrylic convertible crib that grows as the baby grows. Transforming in a crib, toddler bed, daybed and sofa— this Delta Children’s crib met all of our requirements and looks super chic in Harper’s nursery.
Wicker Baskets: Anything wicker goes hand-in-hand with boho chic. These wicker baskets come in a set of 3 and are perfect for storing Harper’s diapers, lotions, bath time essentials, hairbows and so much more! We definitely came up when we came across these baskets, and I’m sure we’ll be getting more because with all of the things Harper has received (and more is still coming), we can never have too much storage.
Round Hamper: Continuing with the wicker theme, we decided to go with a wicker round hamper to store all of her used clothing— both super cute and functional and also includes a removable and washable liner.
Platinum Mesh Medium Start-a-Stack: Again with the storage space, this start-a-stack is perfect for storing all of her underclothing, socks, and onesies that she’ll be using on a daily basis. It fits perfectly in her closet and doesn’t take up too much space!
