Heyyy Babes!!! I would like to first begin by thanking my entire Insta Family (on and offline) for their amazing support thus far. I can’t believe we’ve made it to 100k (now officially on the road to 200k)!
Some of you may know my story, but for those of you who don’t—I moved to Dallas, TX a little over five years ago with literally no friends or family, and knew absolutely no one here. This gave me the chance to truly see what it was like to start from absolutely nothing, and build a name for myself, so to be here now is nothing but a blessing from God.
I want to thank every single individual that helped me make my first meet and greet as well as my surprise birthday celebration one-of-a-kind. The love and support you all have poured into me overtime is beyond unmatched, and I am so grateful. I did not expect the turnout that I got at the event, but I am forever thankful that you all attended and made it that much more special. Connecting with each and every one of you, and being able to put faces with names truly warmed my heart, and reminded me as to why I’m doing this in the first place. Being an influencer is so much more bigger than me—it gives me a public platform, and allows me to make a difference in someone’s life.
Thank you to Amanda Nsofor for bringing my vision (or lack thereof) to life. You are one of the most detail oriented, creative and talented people I have ever met. Thank you to all of the vendors, volunteers and Luminosa Events for the bomb balloon wall, as well as DJ Dawn for the tunes and Chef Janell for the amazing food!
I would also like to thank my friends that traveled across the country just to support and be there for me, as well as the ones that are local and never miss a chance to support me! And again, to the ladies that follow and support me on the daily, the ones that traveled far and near to celebrate with me—y’all are absolutely EVERYTHINGGGGG! I am in complete awe, and will never truly have the words, but I am extremely grateful, and love every single one of you!
To my literal dream team—I am so grateful for each and every one of you. Shaymah, Annelise, Marrica, Chineze and MiKenna—I would not be able to run my business the way I do if it weren’t for you all. Everything from managing my book of business, planning and shooting for campaigns, editing videos, holding me accountable to all I said I wanted to do, growth and making sure I consistently evolve and level up—thank you! If you’ve been following me for some time, you know I preach the fact that you can’t always do it all. As much as we all love to be superwoman, if you want to consistently grow, and be efficient with your time—you have to build a team and have people around you that force you to do and be better! Thank you so much loves for the continued support, you all definitely showed up and showed out! I cannot wait to see where 2020 takes us! #ThisisOnlyTheBeginning
